In Spatial Refractions, a highly reflective pewter metal roll is used as a mobile viewing device (preferably at 360 degrees). Space is reflected and distorted on the inside of the roll so that tunnel vision hallucinations are mimicked in a highly abstract manner. In turn, this causes a disorientation that challenges the human visual system whilst stimulating brain function: triggering various emotions and mirroring placebo effect visions sometimes associated with the unsettling emotions of near death experience, and the euphoria of surviving death.
